Ballet Coach
Originally from Leicester, Sam started dancing just before her ninth birthday. At the age of 13, Sam performed for six months alongside household names in the musical ‘Oliver.’ Sam also successfully auditioned to be a Senior Associate with the Royal Ballet school.
One year later, Sam began auditioning to further her training at vocational dance school and was offered places at multiple schools including becoming a Royal Ballet finalist. Sam selected to take up training at the Prestigious Hammond School, graduating with a Diploma in Dance, alongside ISTD and RAD teaching certificates. After graduating, Sam returned to The Hammond School in a teaching capacity, teaching classical ballet and body conditioning.
Sam has also had an extensive professional performing career, including touring Germany with a contemporary company and traveling the world onboard cruise ships both as a dancer and dance captain. Sam has also secured ensemble roles within musicals as well as performing in the Danish State Circus and staring in pantomimes as Belle and Cinderella. Sam has many years teaching experience and more recently completed a Higher National Diploma in the study of ‘Dance Teaching’, broadening her knowledge of teaching and learning methods.
