Abi opened The Performers Studio, formerly known as Ikonix Academy, in 2019 when she returned to her hometown of Chesterfield to teach and inspire the next generation of performers. 

After spending the last decade performing and touring all over the world, Abi also found her love of teaching Dance and Performing Arts to both children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Abi started dancing at the age of 3, and started performing professionally at the young age of 17.

During this time, Abi also furthered her training by receiving a scholarship to attend SLP college where she graduated 3 years later with a Distinction and a Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre.

Since graduating, Abi has performed in numerous international events and tours as both a Dancer and Dance Captain. She travelled the entire world performing on board cruise ships.

More recently, Abi has used her creativity to choreograph many professional shows for different events, production casts and artists. Abi has also assisted choreographers for professional shows that have been performed as far as Turkey and India.

Abi’s experience of the industry, teamed with her passion of Performing Arts and teaching, created the perfect combination to begin her journey at The Performers Studio.
